New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady found wide receiver Brandon LaFell for a touchdown to open up the scoring in Super Bowl 49 against the Seattle Seahawks.

Tom Brady bounced back nicely after throwing an interception in the end zone on the New England Patriots’ previous trip into the red zone. He was able to find wide receiver Brandon LaFell on a slant route for the touchdown to open up the scoring against the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl 49.

More from New England Patriots

Seattle’s offense has failed to get going, which needs to change in a hurry. Brady appears to be in a groove outside of the interception, and Seattle’s defense hasn’t had much of an answer for the Patriots’ offensive game plan to this point.

New England’s defense has looked good as well, but it is still very early on in the game. Brady needs to continue being aggressive with the passing game. The Patriots will also need to continue running the quick short routes that have worked well thus far. Russell Wilson, on the other hand, has to figure out how to march his Seahawks offense down the field and respond with some points.

It has already been a very exciting game, and despite the slow start for Seattle it doesn’t appear to be too one-sided. Both teams are going to make plays at different times, but cannot afford to get down when something doesn’t go their way. Seattle’s defense has already proven they can make plays against Brady; they have to find ways to make more throughout the remainder of the game.
