New England Patriots star quarterback Tom Brady was intercepted by Seattle Seahawks cornerback Jeremy Lane in the end zone.

Tom Brady and the New England Patriots were looking great on their second drive of Super Bowl 49, but the Seattle Seahawks didn’t give up on the drive. Jeremy Lane was able to intercept Brady’s desperation throw into the end zone after the defense was able to put pressure on him.

It isn’t the type of mistake Brady usually makes, and it could end up being very costly for the Patriots. Unfortunately, Lane was injured on the play and was carted off the field with an air cast on his arm. Whenever a player has an air cast put onto a body part, it usually means that they are expecting the injury to be serious.

New England cannot afford to make those types of mistakes against the Seahawks. They feed off of the plays that their defense makes, and chances to score could end up being few and far between throughout the game.

Brady isn’t the type of quarterback to allow a bad mistake to bother him moving forward in a game. He needs to shake this play off and get back to moving his team down the field like they were before the interception.

Seattle, on the other hand, needs to continue putting pressure on Brady, and cannot afford to let him get back in the groove. They need to do everything in their power to shake his confidence once again next time out.
