Which 10 players are in need of a new team as the NBA trade deadline looms?

The Feb. 19 NBA trade deadline is rapidly approaching and over the last few weeks, we’ve already seen a large number of high profile trades come through, with players like Timofey Mozgov, Dion Waiters, J.R. Smith, Iman Shumpert, Brandan Wright and Jeff Green swapping teams.

But the action probably isn’t over yet, and the rumor mill is swirling at this time of year. There are always NBA players bound to be unhappy with their team’s success, their role on their team, their front office or whatever else may make their current situation inconvenient and unpleasant.

With that in mind, and because coming up with trades to make players happy and teams better is fun, we’re going to take a look at 10 players who are in need of a new playing situation.

These are the players who have frequently popped up in the rumor mill. These are the guys that are clearly not a good fit with their current team. But most of all, these are the guys who can help playoff contenders right now if a manageable trade can be put together.

Here’s a look at the top 10 players in need of a trade before the 2015 NBA trade deadline, and which teams might be interested in making a move for them.
