Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry recently said he still loses to his former NBA father in horse.

NBA All-Star Stephen Curry maybe happy that his father Dell Curry won’t be participating in this years three-point contest during the All-Star weekend.  The Golden State Warriors‘ starting point guard Curry recently sat down for an interview for In Depth with Graham Bensinger earlier this week and had an interesting anecdote to share.

During the interview Curry said when asked if he and his former NBA father Dell Curry play H-O-R-S-E. The younger Curry answered “Occasionally”, Curry continued “A lot of it’s mostly at camps and things like that when they want to see the show.  He’s beaten me a couple too many times actually, recently, so I gotta step my game up.  He always says you’re only as good as your last game, and he won the last one, so he has the crown right now”.

Stephen Curry so far has an edge on the NBA court however nearly doubling his father’s point per game total at 20.7 to Dell’s 11.7.  The two Curry’s are closer in shooting percentages however as Stephen has averaged .435 from three in his career compared to his father’s .402.  Stephen has played in fewer games than his father to date at 385 compared to his old man’s 1,083.

These two sharp shooters will be teaming up this year during All-Star weekend for the Degree Shooting Stars competition, with Seattle Storm Sue Bird rounding out the team.
