It sure looks like Oakland Raiders scout Raleigh McKenzie is asleep at the NFL combine in this Vine

Being an NFL scout must be hard work, but if there is one weekend to probably be on top of things, it is the NFL Scouting Combine. Athletes from multiple college football programs descend upon Indianapolis to show off meaningless skills in an attempt to impress scouts and climb big boards and increase their draft stock.

Of course, any football player hoping to impress Raiders scout Raleigh McKenzie likely won’t get the opportunity because he was caught on camera snoozing during Saturday’s workouts, though there remains the chance that he is looking at his phone reading something.

The NFL Network broadcast identified the man above as Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie, and we originally wrote this piece as if it were McKenzie. But as several of the commenters below pointed out, and as Bleacher Report confirmed with some photo comparison, it is not Reggie.

Either way, should any NFL personnel in charge of grading talent and bettering the team be asleep at the biggest weekend of talent evaluation?

This really explains a lot about the Raiders and the state of their franchise and why they can never seem to get out of the rebuilding phase.
