The Cleveland Browns announced their new logo this morning. It was met with lots of meh’s.

This morning the Cleveland Browns introduced their new logo to the world. It was one tough party as fans took to Twitter to let the franchise know how they felt of the new insignia. It’s about as dull as the color combo of brown and orange. There’s a reason why people abandoned that combo after the 1970s.

The Browns described their updated trademarks with these intricate words:

"“The orange is brighter and richer and matches the passion of our fans and city. The brown is unchanged.”"

Cleveland put an insane amount of effort into picking an entirely new shade of orange. It may be one color, but like- do you know how many shades of orange their are? The guy that had to do that was so tired that he just decided to take a break when it came to switching up their dazzling brown hue.

"“The new brown facemask represents the strength and toughness of Cleveland.”"

I remember that one time I looked at someone that had a white facemask and didn’t have a second thought. If you really want to intimidate me there better be some darkness associated with one part of your helmet. I’ll only start taking you seriously once you move past blue on the color scale.

It reminds me of one of those group projects you had in college that no one cared about. And then the night before it was due, someone popped some adderalls and thought they did their best work. When they presented it to the class the next day they were reminded why they shouldn’t put stuff off.

As you can see Cleveland has always had a dedicated and innovative design team:

Possibly the best thing to come from this turd sandwich are the fan reactions:

There had to be at least one poop joke associated with this disappointing reveal.

The Cleveland Browns will unveil their new uniform designs on April 14, 2015. Hopefully they don’t use it as another occasion to motivate fans to photoshop defecating dogs on their logo.
