The Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago White Sox are having issues with scorpions at their Spring Training complex in Glendale, Arizona.

As teams prepare for the upcoming season, they face many obstacles in getting ready for the new season such as determining pitching rotations, batting orders.

More from Chicago White Sox

The Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago White Sox have run into an entirely different issue at spring training as the teams are dealing with scorpions at the Camelback Ranch in Glendale, Arizona.

With the weather warming up in Arizona, scorpions are out in abundance. It appears they’ve already began attacking media staffers from the Dodgers and White Sox alike.

One unlucky Dodgers PR guy was stung by one of the scorpions. Fortunately, he is okay.

White Sox pitcher Jeff Samardzija isn’t afraid of the scorpions, but has advice for the other players in camp.

"“[The scorpions aren’t a] big deal really,” Samardzija said. “As long as they’re dead and on your floor, you can pick them up. But you always have to check your shoes is what it is. Every morning when you go to put on your shoes, shake them out to make sure there are no albino scorpions in there.”"

So while the Dodgers and White Sox are getting ready to start the new season, they have a pest control job to take care of first.
