Phil Jackson got the chance to see a good basketball team go to work on Friday, stopping by Kentucky practice

New York Knicks President Phil Jackson has not seen a lot of good basketball this season, to say the least. His Knicks team is just 11-46 on the year and this NBA season cannot come to a close soon enough so he and his scouting team can get to work on figuring out how to fix this mess.

Well on Friday, as far as the scouting department goes, Jackson made a pretty good move when he stopped by to watch the undefeated Kentucky Wildcats practice, just one day after he was hanging around and watching the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Must have been refreshing to watch a dominant team like Kentucky get some work in, and I’m sure that Jackson saw a lot of things that he liked. Hey, you can’t say that he doesn’t like the thought of having Willie Cauley-Stein working on the inside with Amar’e Stoudemire gone now. Or, one of the Harrison twins knocking down threes from long range.
