Adam Schefter reported that LeSean McCoy was traded to the Buffalo Bills for linebacker Kiko Alonso but Drew Rosenhaus said nothing is official.

The sports world blew up Tuesday evening when Adam Schefter reported that Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy was traded to the Buffalo Bills for linebacker Kiko Alonso, but McCoy’s agent Drew Rosenhaus said nothing is actually official right now.

Nothing can actually be finalized until next week according to Schefter, and maybe that’s what Rosenhaus is referring to, but he’s saying that there is no trade right now.

If the trade is in fact real, this is the biggest blockbuster trade we’ve seen this year in the NFL. LeSean McCoy has been on the Eagles for his last five seasons and last year he rushed for 1,319 yards and had five rushing touchdowns.

McCoy is a big addition for the Buffalo Bills if the trade gets finalized who have struggled on offense in recent years. This will likely mean that the Bills won’t have running back C.J. Spiller next season, who will be next to find a new home.

Former Oregon linebacker Kiko Alonso is reuniting with former head coach Chip Kelly if the trade is finalized.

Stay tuned, folks.
