Which five needs do the Oakland Raiders have heading into the offseason as they look to get themselves back into playoff contention?

The Oakland Raiders are entering a big offseason for the future of their franchise, and they are in need of making some moves. Derek Carr appears to be the future at quarterback after a solid rookie season, and they are moving ahead with new head coach Jack Del Rio.

Despite some of the positives that the Raiders can look at, they still have quite a few holes heading into the 2015 offseason. It will be very intriguing to see what they end up doing, and especially how aggressive they are in free agency. They have some money to spend, but whether or not they can convince free agents to join them is another question.

Oakland is certainly heading in the right direction, but the past few years don’t just disappear when free agents consider joining the Raiders.

Expect to see them be very active in the rumor mill, and they will make a few moves. Those moves may not include any of the bigger named free agents, but they are certainly going to do what they can to bring in a big name or two.

All of that being said, what are the five needs for the Raiders looking ahead as the offseason is close to heating up?
