Ezekiel Elliot is inspiration for baby penguin name (Video)

Ohio State running back and National Champion Ezekiel Elliot has now become the inspiration for a Columbus, Ohio zoo.
The Ohio State Buckeyes had one magical run that coincided with the first ever NCAA Football Playoff in 2014. Many names were money in the bank en route to making sure the team secured that #4 seed over Baylor and TCU, then rolling to the National Championship.

One of these guys was their stud running back Ezekiel Elliot.
Elliot ran wild towards the end of the season, going for 200 or more yards in the team’s last three games.
Thanks so such a ridiculous performance against Oregon in the title game, Elliot was named the offensive MVP.
Now, as the man comes back for his junior season in 2015, fans can also hear the name “Zeke” (as he’s so affectionately known as), at the local Columbus, Ohio zoo:
The zoo named one of their newest additions to the family, a Homboldt penguin chick, Zeke.
Making the story even sweeter is the fact that Zeke’s father is named Tressel, after Ohio State head coach Jim Tressel of course.
So even if Elliot decides to declare for the NFL Draft after 2015, folks can still bask in another Zeke’s glory for many years to come.
Elliot finished his crazy good 2014 with a total of 1,878 and 18 touchdowns.
