That incredible passion was put on display in a unique manner following Kentucky ‘ 67-50 over Florida on Saturday that capped off an undefeated regular season for the Wildcats. The Kentucky sports apparel company Wildcat Wearhouse decided to send one of its shirts celebrating the 31-0 season into space and captured the shirt’s journey with a GoPro camera.

Take a look at the breathtaking footage of the shirt’s flight over 100,000 feet in the atmosphere:

Regardless of one’s feelings about Kentucky basketball, that was awesome.

Wildcat Warehouse spokesman Rhea Starns told USA Today that the contraption used to launch the shirt was made by a former Navy Seal.

It sure will be interesting to see what the company has in store for us if the Wildcats ultimately run the table and win the NCAA title without a blemish on their resume.

The Wildcats open SEC tournament play on Friday and will play the winner of Wednesday’s contest between Alabama and Florida.
