The Kentucky Wildcats destroyed the West Virginia Mountaineers on Thursday night. They were hoping to win the game by 50 points.

The Kentucky Wildcats dismantled West Virginia on Thursday night. It was a dominating performance by the them and it is exactly what Kentucky was hoping to accomplish when they stepped onto the court. They were looking to crush the Mountaineers spirits.

“They should have kept their mouth shut and it might not have been like that,” Tyler Unis told reporters, per Matt Jones of Kentucky Sports Radio. “Our whole plan was to crush their spirit — beat ‘em by 50 for disrespecting us.”

Kentucky almost won the game by 50 points. They doubled the Mountaineers score with a 78-39 win. They flexed their muscles on both sides of the court. West Virginia did not have an answer to Kentucky on the court during the whole game. The Wildcats were not even tested in the game. It never was close.

West Virginia’s Daxter Miles Jr predicted that the Mountaineers would ruin Kentucky’s perfect season and the Wildcats used that as bulletin material going into the game. They used it as motivation to dominate. It really motivated Kentucky and Kentucky came out with a fast start and tore the Mountaineers to shreds.

Next time Miles might want to keep his mouth closed. Kentucky is steamrolling through the tournament at the moment with their perfect record. They will face off against Notre Dame on Saturday night and will be looking to carry their momentum into that game.

The Wildcats are rolling and they will be looking to find the next bulletin board material from Notre Dame. Maybe the players over there will just do their talking on the court instead of in the paper.

Will the Fighting Irish be able to give Kentucky their loss for the season and eliminate them out of the tournament?
