Updated live scoring action from the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 battle on Friday night between Michigan State and Oklahoma

The Sweet 16 portion of the NCAA Tournament will be continuing along on Friday night, and one of the contests we’ll see comes to us from the East Region, as the Michigan State Spartans take on the Oklahoma Sooners.

Michigan State comes into this one as the No. 7 seed in the East Region, however not many people are surprised that they’re in this position right now. Each and every season Tom Izzo and Michigan State prove to us that you can never count them out when the month of March comes around. In their last game against No. 2 seed Virginia, we were showed that once again when they knocked off the ACC champs.

Oklahoma, the No. 3 seed in the East Region, is a legitimate threat, though. They’ve put together a solid run in this tournament thus far, and they took care of a pretty solid Dayton team in the Round of 32.

Michigan State is a different animal altogether than Dayton or Albany, but as we saw during the Big 12 regular season, there is enough talent on this Oklahoma team to get the job done.

This should be one of the best games of the tournament so far, and you can follow along with the live action below.
