The Kentucky Wildcats are trying to complete the first perfect season in forever, but Notre Dame is trying to show the world that they have more than just some luck on their side.

When the Kentucky Wildcats stormed into the Elite Eight, it appeared that no one could beat them. That’s not what the Notre Dame Irish had in mind though, as Mike Brey’s team have upset on the mind and they’re sticking very close to that idea on Saturday night against Kentucky.

After heading into the half tied 31-31, the Irish came out of the break firing on all cylinders and the Wildcats just weren’t ready for them.

The Irish put on an impromptu dunk contest to kick off the second half and it’s something that helped them get out to the lead they amassed as time pressed on.

If Notre Dame can pull off the upset, then it’s going to be one of the most iconic wins in the school’s history. Notre Dame is a football school, but this win and a potential trip to the National Championship could change their fortunes in a big way and help them arrive as a basketball force on the NCAA.
