The Rock played President Barack Obama’s angry side, like his Hulk alter ego.

United States president Barack Obama is know to be a pretty cool cucumber. He has appeared on television shows, done interviews with YouTube personalities and even appeared on Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis.

He isn’t really one to lose his temper, but what if he did? Well that is the premise of Saturday Night Live‘s cold opening segment from this week’s episode. Obama is getting angry when he is dealing with some political counterparts and that is when his angry side is unleashed and he turns into the Hulk.

Only, the Hulk and angry side of Obama is played by The Rock. They also named it “The Rock Obama, which is kind of cheesy but kind of clever and hilarious all at the same time.

From there the segment kind of just dies, it isn’t quite as funny as you’d hope for given the premise. I don’t want to see the angry Hulk talk things out and do a little smashing, I want to see all the smashing.

I wasn’t expecting this affliction of affect all the Obamas though.
