Have any doubt that St. Louis is a baseball town? Even with a playoff campaign about to get underway, the St. Louis Blues found a way to get the Cardinals involved.

The Blues celebrated the start of the 2015 baseball season with some stylish Cardinals-themed warmup jerseys ahead of their regular season finale against the Minnesota Wild on Saturday afternoon. Here’s what they looked like, courtesy of The Cauldron.

Hockey jerseys typically look sharp and the Cardinals have an excellent logo, so this works pretty well. That’s not to say the Blues should consider a full-time change, as they have one of the most iconic logo and uniform combinations in sports.

The Blues are currently up 3-1 on the red-hot Wild at the end of the second period. Several scenarios are still in play, including the Blues ending up with the best record in the Western Conference, but they would be matched up with Minnesota again if the season ended today.

Over on the diamond, the Cardinals are off to a 2-2 start on the young season and will finish up a road trip tomorrow in Cincinnati before heading to St. Louis for the home opener on Monday. Busch Stadium will be filled throughout the summer, as the Cardinals are yet again among the best teams in the National League.

If the Blues take home the Stanley Cup, perhaps the Cardinals will honor them with some warmup jerseys.
