The Cleveland Browns have given some of their fans something to smile about after revealing their new uniform on Tuesday

The Browns have revealed their new uniform today much to the appreciation of a lot of fans. Whether you love it or hate it, you can’t deny that it’s about time since they changed their style. The Browns have had a similar jersey since the beginning of time, so the change has been met with a lot of positive reaction.

Here’s a look at the new uniforms for the Browns:

It’s the second announcement from Cleveland in 2015, the first one involving their ‘new’ logo was more than a little underwhelming considering there was only a different shade of coloring. A lot of fans were upset that the build up surrounding the reveal was over the top and it was considered to be nothing more than a publicity stunt by the franchise.

Personally I think it’s nearly impossible to make brown and or orange attractive or appealing, especially in regards to sporting uniforms. The current Browns’ jersey is tried and tested, having basically been used every season for the past god knows how long. So you have to credit the franchise with finally making some sort of difference and again getting a little hype around the team. The Browns nearly made the playoffs last season which as we all know is more than a little rare. They were leading the division towards the end but as the Browns have done so often over the years, they blew it and fell apart at the crucial time of the season. So much build up for nothing, not unlike their logo reveal. I think they’ve done a good job in making the jersey more modern and I’m not the only one as fans have taken to social media to voice their approval.

You’re never going to please everyone when it comes to fashion, (can you call Sporting uniforms fashion?) but I think the Browns’ did all they could to make the brown and orange seem that much better. I won’t be rushing to the store to buy one, but it’s definitely an improvement.
