[UPDATE:] Britt McHenry has posted a statement to her Twitter account.

"“In an intense and stressful moment, I allowed my emotions to get the best of me and said some insulting and regrettable things. As frustrated as I was, I should always choose to be respectful and take the high road. I am so sorry for my actions and will learn from this mistake.”"

Even though we don’t personally know a lot of the people that we see on TV during a regular basis, we still like to make assumptions. For example, it’s been widely assumed that ESPN reporter Britt McHenry is one of the sweetest women you could ever want to meet and she gives off the ultimate “Girl Next Door” vibe, which is refreshing.

Well, you know what’s not refreshing? Learning that she’s really not all that nice of a person at all.

Recently when McHenry was at a towing place, presumably getting her car that had been towed, she went off the on the lady behind the counter who was just trying to do her job.

Just take a listen to some of the things the ESPN beauty was saying to this poor woman. (

Warning: Some of the language she used is NSFW)

You want to know what the excuse for this is? Oh, wait, there is none. There is not one single reason in the world that McHenry needed to do this to someone who is just trying to make an honest living.

But, as far as her argument to the woman that she’s on TV…well, after this little tantrum, that might not be the case for a little bit.
