Mike Tyson proves he is the worst at lip syncing (Video)

Mike Tyson went on the TV show Lip Sync Battle and it went just about as bad as it could have gone.

Mike Tyson is known for a number of things. Biting Evander Holyfield’s ear off, having one of the most vicious right hooks boxing has ever seen, and his appearance in The Hangover films all come to mind. So when he was introduced on Spike TV’s new show Lip Sync Battle, it certainly raised a few eyebrows.

Just like everything Tyson does in the entertainment circle, his attempt at the song was extremely entertaining. His rendition of Salt-N-Pepa’s hit single “Push It” was probably the worst performance of the song to date. It appeared as if Tyson’s on stage persona was a combination between an energetic six-year-old who had too much birthday cake and someone trying way to hard at open mic night. Either way, this performance is going to go down in history as one of his worst. Or maybe his best, depending on how you want to look at it.

I don’t know what Iron Mike was thinking with this one. He couldn’t even mouth the words fast enough or stay on beat. Not to mention that his dance moves were completely ridiculous. He should have stuck with something that went with his style better.

For example, this scene from The Hangover movie comes to mind.

The tasteful cover of Phil Collins’ “In the air tonight” is one of the most beautiful things I’ve seen the former heavyweight champion of the world do. That is saying something when you consider how amazing it was to watch this man fight.

Maybe he took one too many punches to the head and didn’t realize how out of the question “Push it” should have been for him. But he didn’t realize that before the show started, so Terry Crewes, his opponent of the night, ended up getting the win.
