The New England Patriots took a trip to the White House on Thursday afternoon and President Obama had some jokes up his sleeve. Rob Gronkowski thought he might be ‘wasted.’

Every year, the Super Bowl champion gets to visit the White House while meeting the president in one of the coolest opportunities out there. This year, the New England Patriots got the honor of meeting President Obama and hearing some of his corny jokes in person.

The NFL champs got to take a visit to Washington D.C. yesterday and Rob Gronkowski and his teammates, minus Tom Brady, got to party it up at the White House.

Okay, maybe there was no partying involved, but after a few Barack Obama jokes about the infamous “Deflategate” scandal, Gronkowski implied that his president may have been ‘wasted.’

Take a listen as Obama makes not one, but two jokes about Deflategate much to the dismay of Bill Belichick who gave the president two thumbs down.

After those jokes ‘fell flat,’ Gronkowski had this to say about the possible alcohol consumption of the president.

Sure, that may not have been the best joke to make about the President of the United States, but it was pretty funny coming from Gronk’s mouth, nonetheless.

The Patriot had to endure some “too soon” jokes from the president about Deflategate, so it was only fitting that the team’s ultimate party animal called Obama wasted for his comments and attempts at humor.

Maybe we will see Gronk and Obama partying it up together soon.
