Skip Bayless is famous for saying ridiculous things to get a rise out of people, but the Washington Redskins put him in his place Friday morning on Twitter after their first NFL Draft pick.

If you know anything about Skip Bayless, you would know that he’s the nation’s most famous sports troll and he likes to rile up fans and players by saying ridiculous things that are nearly impossible to argue for. For example, he says Tim Tebow will be a solid NFL quarterback. Ridiculous, right?

Anyways, the ESPN First Take star took to Twitter to voice his opinion on many of the league’s first-round draft picks. Some of his takes on team’s first round picks were not so positive while others, including the Washington Redskins pick, were praised.

After the Redskins chose Iowa tackle Brandon Scherff with the No. 5 overall pick in the draft, Bayless took to Twitter to tell the world what he thought of the pick.

The Redskins, however, didn’t quite care to hear it.

Scherff was one of the best prospects in the draft and quite possibly the best lineman in the past few years. The team needed to help bolster the offensive line and adding a guy who can come in and take over the right tackle position was key for the ‘Skins.

Seeing Bayless get trolled by the Redskins on Twitter was one of the better exchanges during the draft as he should have done a little research before making assumptions.

Why won’t Scherff be playing left tackle, protecting Robert Griffin III’s blindside? Well, like the Twitter account already stated, the team has one of the best left tackles in the league already in three-time Pro Bowler Trent Williams.

Bayless either chimed in without knowing this information or just chimed in to get a rise out of people. Either way, he should have at least mentioned that the Redskins already have a Pro Bowl left tackle and Scherff would be adjusting to the right side of the line at the next level.

Thankfully we have social media coordinators, like the one who works for the Redskins, that aren’t afraid of calling out internet trolls when they’re wrong.

Everyone likes to see Skip Bayless called out when he’s wrong — because he usually is.
