During Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals, Mark Jackson decided to voice his support for Floyd Mayweather and people were not happy

Boy, if we thought it was awkward that Mark Jackson is calling the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference semifinals, things just got a lot more awkward after some comments that he made on the broadcast table.

During the second quarter of the game, the conversation between the commentators turned to the fight on Saturday night between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao. Surprisingly enough, Jackson was the only one that vehemently voiced his support for Mayweather, even going so far as to say that we should only focus on what he does in the boxing ring, not, you know, that whole domestic violence thing from his past that we’ve been hearing about all week.

Of course, once people heard this, the outrage was immense.

Yeah, not the best move that Jackson could have made, and you can’t quite blame some of these people for the outrage over the remarks.

Basically, this is the internet to Mark Jackson right now…
