The Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers are set to do battle in the Eastern Conference playoffs, but Chicago is ready to take Cleveland out once and for all.

Next: 10 Reasons Cavaliers Will Beat Bulls

Besides the fact the Chicago Bulls stumbled in Games 4 and 5 in their first round match up against the Milwaukee Bucks, they should still be considered favorites to beat the Cavaliers in the second round. After all, their 120-66 over the Bucks in game six was pretty decisive. Not to mention the fact that the Cavs will be down two critical players going into the series come Monday night.

The Bulls have too many pieces for the Cavs to keep up with. If you are going to sit here and say that Timofey Mozgov and Tristan Thomas are going to be able to lock down Pau Gasol and Joakim Noah you are mistaken. Gasol and Noah are two of the best passing big men in the NBA. Even when they come out and Taj Gibson and Nikola Mirotic come into the picture, the Cavs backups aren’t going to be able to handle the Bulls.

In all honesty though the Bulls/Cavs series is going to come down to one player. The man who has missed countless games due to knee injury after knee injury. Even after returning from injury he is at times streaky. But when he is on and the rest of the team follows suit, the Bulls are the best team in the NBA.

They just do every facet of the game so well. Whether it is scoring, playing lock down defense, passing the ball, or shooting free throws, the Bulls can do it all. Without Love and JR, the Cavs are low on ammunition and it is going to take everything LeBron and company have to really take down the Bulls.

Once Monday night comes and the series gets under way, the Cavs are going to realize who the kings of the east are and it is not going to be LeBron and company.
