Paige Greenberg, daughter of former Virginia Tech head basketball coach Seth Greenberg, isn’t having any of Darren Rovell’s shtick.

Darren Rovell is probably the easiest person to troll in the history of the internet, so he should have been expecting some retaliation following a shot at ESPN co-worker Seth Greenberg.

After Steph Curry was named the NBA MVP on Monday, Rovell pointed out that Virginia Tech failed to recruit him while Greenberg was the head coach there.

That’s true enough, but seems rather unnecessary as every college in the country apart from tiny Davidson took someone over Curry. Former NC State star Julius Hodge took exception to Rovell’s statement.

A totally fair point from Hodge-Munson probably doesn’t deserve backlash for being compared to the greatest shooter of this generation. Rovell decides to dig himself a deeper hole.

So Rovell wanted to take a shot at a co-worker, but was perhaps too afraid given the suspensions ESPN has laid down on Bill Simmons and Keith Law recently. Seth’s daughter Paige then comes in with no regard for human life.

Yet again, Rovell looks like a moron on Twitter and pays the price for it.

Curry proved every coach in America wrong by leading Davidson to the Elite Eight in 2008. He again silenced critics during his NBA career, winning the MVP while leading the seemingly unstoppable Golden State Warriors towards a title. Meanwhile, Rovell continues to spew asinine statements on daily basis.
