If the Wizards want to take a 2-0 lead over the Hawks on Tuesday night, they’ll have to do so without John Wall

The Washington Wizards will look to take a commanding 2-0 lead over the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday night in their Eastern Conference semifinal series. However, if they’re going to take that commanding lead, they’re going to have to do so without the services of their best player, point guard John Wall.

In some news that a lot of people did not expect to see coming, Wall has been ruled out of the Game 2 contest againt the Hawks due to a wrist injury that he suffered in their opening win in Game 1.

Well, now that certainly hinders the chances of the Wizards coming away with a second consecutive win over arguably the best team in the Eastern Conference.

In that Game 1 victory, Wall the most valuable player for the Wizards as they pulled off the stunner, dropping in 18 points with seven rebounds and 13 assists. It was proof positive once again that when Wall is on his A-game, there really is no stopping what this Wizards team can potentially do,

Now on Tuesday night, it’ll be up to the likes of Bradley Beal and Paul Pierce to try and fill the void that’s left by Wall’s absence.
