Derrick Rose stepped up in the biggest way possible for the Chicago Bulls on Friday night, banging in the game-winning three in regulation

Friday night the Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers gave us one hell of a basketball game in Game 3 of their Eastern Conference semifinal series. What it gave us the most, though, was one of the most exciting finishes that we have seen of these playoffs, courtesy of Derrick Rose.

It was a wild finish to this one, especially as time was running down in regulation. J.R. Smith hit a three-pointer to tie the game and make it appear as if we were headed to an overtime period.

Well, D-Rose was having none of that overtime stuff.

With the clock running out in regulation, Rose came up about as clutch as you possibly can, banging in the three to give the Bulls a 99-96 win and a 2-1 series lead.

Now this is what we were looking for out of this series. We want to see the MVP candidates for their respective teams come through when they’re needed the most, and that is exactly what Rose did here on Friday night at home.

What a wild series through just three games with these two, but we kinda expected it.
