With the Cavaliers down three against the Bulls and the clock running down, J.R. Smith hit a huge three to tie the game for the Cavaliers.

On a night when Kyrie Irving couldn’t buy a shot to save his life, J.R. Smith could and kept the Cleveland Cavaliers alive until the very end.

After the Bulls hit two free throws to extend their lead to 96-93, LeBron brought the ball down the court with time running out.

He found J.R. Smith beyond the arc, who let one go from far out.

Smith with a knack to hit the big one, nailed it to the dismay of Bulls fans everywhere.

Smith was probably one of the most key players for Cleveland as the team had a horrendous offensive showing, much in part to their point guard Irving. James also struggled shooting the ball, but managed to hit some shots late, something Irving could not do.

However, Smith’s late heroics were not meant to be as Derrick Rose nailed a three at the buzzer to give the Bulls the win and the series lead. If the Cavaliers are going to win this series, they’re going to need more clutch heroics from Smith, because it’s apparent their point guard can’t give it to them.

Great effort by Smith but unfortunately it now means nothing.
