What a wild two days it’s been in the NBA Playoffs, all thanks to the dramatics of Paul Pierce and Derrick Rose

Sometimes we’re reminded why we love sports so much, and the last two nights have certainly been stern reminders of our love, thanks in large part to Derrick Rose and Paul Pierce.

First, on Friday night, Derrick Rose was able to lift his team to a win over the Cleveland Cavaliers when he banked in a three-pointer with time running out in regulation after the Cavs had tied the game up. We thought we were getting overtime, but Rose was not having any of that.

Just a short time ago here on Saturday, not 24 hours since Rose captivated us all with his heroics, Paul Pierce made sure the Wizards would not be going to overtime in Game 3 with the Atlanta Hawks, who had come back in the fourth from 20 points down. While it wasn’t a long three like Rose had, it was still enough to get the Wizards out of there with the win in regulation and also a 2-1 lead in their series.

Yes, these two NBA superstars reminded us all why we fell in love with sports in the first place, and thanks to this amazing video, you can relive both moments in one Vine.

Just awesome.
