Jalen Rose responds to Chris Webber’s comments about the documentary and his issues with hit.

The Fab Five documentary was released on ESPN as a part of their 30 for 30 series back in 2011 and some of the members of the film are now finally sharing their criticism of that. The face of the Fab Five and successful NBA forward, Chris Webber shared his dissatisfaction with how the film put the entire story in perspective.

Webber thought that Jalen Rose was at the center of the film for no reason and that he has “always been about the team.” He also complained on how the film made it seem like the infamous timeout he called in the NCAA tournament was a taboo topic for him. Quite the contrary, he claimed that he moved past it long ago and now it is just a part of who he is.

As you can imagine, these words didn’t sit too kindly with NBA analyst Jalen Rose himself. So he issued a response to Chris Webber’s claims about the films. And boy is it fierce.

“One dude traveled then called a timeout. One dude lied to grand jury and hasn’t apologized. One dude tried to circumvent the documentary to HBO. One dude ignored multiple requests from everyone involved after agreeing to participate. One dude played like (President) Obama an sat in a suite during Michigan’s recent title game. One dude slandered Ed Martin after all he did for him and his family. One dude is not in contact with the other four (which is all good). One dude has been doing a rebuttal doc for four years. One dude is clearly delusional and still in denial,” Rose said in messages to Larry Brown sports.

To say there are hard feelings between Rose and Webber would probably be an understatement. Those are pretty harsh wards from Rose who has asked Webber to apologize for the situation regarding Ed Martin that broke out in 2002.

It’s hard to see such a fall out from two former basketball stars. It seems that if Webber and Rose could just talk things out that one apology would fall after the next.
