Former Saints wide receiver Joe Horn is definitely not a fan of Roger Goodell and what he’s doing with the league

Not many people are fans of NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, and you can most certainly count former New Orleans Saints wide receiver Joe Horn among the people in that group.

Actually, he just doesn’t dislike the commish, he’s pretty sure that he might be Satan himself.

In a recent interview with TheFootballGirl.com. Horn talked about what he’s been up to since he retired from the NFL in 2007, but he also had this to say about Goodell…

"Here’s what I don’t like. I don’t like what Roger Goodell is doing. He has so much power that he can almost shut people down. I just don’t like him. And I don’t like  that on draft day these kids don’t know that they’re hugging the devil. I hate to see kids that are lost and then happy but they really don’t know that the man they’re hugging will rip their throat apart.  If he has an opportunity to take money from them, or there’s a situation where they’re guilty before they go to court, he’ll rip them apart. And there’s nothing no one can do about it. If the owners are happy with Roger Goodell, the fans, the media, no one can take his job from him. I hate it."

Those weren’t the only comments that Horn had in regards to Goodell. In speaking about the power that he actually has, he noted that folks like ESPN’s Chris Berman and Cris Carter can’t tear him apart on air like they maybe want to because he’ll make sure their jobs are ripped away.

Strong words from one of the most well-known wide receiver from the decade of the 2000s, but you’ll probably find a lot of people that agree with everything that he had to say here.

With Horn now turning himself into quite the successful entrepreneur these days and not having to worry about feeling the wrath of Roger Goodell, he can say whatever he pleases.

Although, we all have to admit it would have been fun as hell to watch Joe Horn clash with Roger Goodell over this:
