Auburn recruit Donta Evans pranked Tiger coaches during a recent visit to The Plains.

Auburn recruit Donta Evans appeared to have a solid visit to the program this past weekend. He had a chance to see Auburn’s first-class facilities, get wined and dined by one of the SEC’s benchmark programs, meet with the new defensive staff and, oh yeah, prank some coaches along the way.

You know that viral video of the sister who pulled a fast one on her brother by pretending to take selfies while actually videoing?

(funny, nsfw reactions)

Well apparently this is Evans’ style too. During his Big Cat Weekend on The Plains, the linebacker prospect racked up a body count of coaches posing for faux-selfies.

Lance Thompson: got heeeeeem!

And the Gus Bus? Smile for the camera, coach.

"Victim #2"

Does it make the prank better or worse if the person doesn’t know what the heck is going on? Depends on the situation, probably. In this case I say “yay.” Love that Gus just seems happy to be there – especially since it should be the other way around.

Evans is listed by 247Sports Composite (an industry-wide average) as a 3-star linebacker prospect for the class of 2016. Aside from Auburn, he currently has offers from Louisville, North Carolina and Iowa, among other schools.

Here’s a peek at highlights from his junior season in high school.
