After a rain-soaked Monday, Major League Baseball tries to get even more action on an already jam-packed Tuesday which now has 17 games on the schedule.  The Rockies and Dodgers were already scheduled to play a double-header today and the Blue Jays and Nationals will try to squeeze there’s in today after yesterday’s rainout.  With so many games, there are some exceptional batter vs pitcher splits to take advantage of, so check out my top ten on the following slides.

It’s time to get started with a huge day of Major League Baseball, so let’s get started with today’s top ten batter vs pitcher matchups.

10. Jose Reyes-SS-Toronto Blue Jays: If the Blue Jays and Nationals get there games in today, there are a couple of leftover matchups from yesterday which still make good plays.  The first is Jose Reyes vs Jordan Zimmermann. Reyes is 8-22 (.364) in his career against the Nationals righty with a double and makes a solid play against Zimmermann who is expected to take the ball in the afternoon game.

9. Wilson Ramos-C-Washington Nationals: Zimmermann is scheduled to be opposed in Game One by knuckleballer R.A. Dickey. I’d expecte Wilson Ramos to draw the start behind the plate in the Dickey game since Ramos is 9-13 (.692) against the flutter-ball with a double, home run, and three RBI.

8. Jean Segura-SS-Milwaukee Brewers: In their past meetings, the Brewers have feasted on Lance Lynn and there are several of the Brew Crew that have the track record to get them into consideration for this list.  Segura is one of the players who has hit Lynn well in the past going 9-23 (.391) with a double, triple, and two RBI. He isn’t the only Brewers option on this list, but he’s a great option tonight at SS as Milwaukee visits St. Louis and takes on Lynn.
