The Super Regional portion of the 2015 NCAA Baseball Tournament is now all set

Last week the road to the 2015 College World Series and Omaha got started with the Regional portion of the tournament. However, as we keep moving along here in the NCAA Baseball Tournament, it’s now time for the Super Regionals to take place.

We saw some amazing action in the Regional portion of the NCAA Baseball Tournament this year, but it’s time to start weeding everyone out as we get to Omaha.

After the action that took place on Monday night, the Super Regionals are now all set in stone, and here’s a look at the match ups that we’ll be treated to.

(3) Virginia vs. (3) Maryland
(2) Arkansas vs. (1) Missouri State
(4) Virginia Commonwealth vs. (1) Miami-FL
(1) Florida vs. (1) Florida State
(3) Louisiana-Lafayette vs. (1) LSU
(1) TCU vs. (1) Texas A&M
(1) Vanderbilt vs. (1) Illinois
(1) Cal State Fullerton vs. (1) Louisville

There are some really intriguing battles lined up here, including the showdown between the Florida State Seminoles and Florida Gators, who as we all know are not exactly the best of friends on athletic fields.

Then we have the defending champion, Vanderbilt, taking on another No. 1 seed in Illinois. The road for Vanderbilt defending that title successfully just got a bit tougher for the Commodores.

Which of these match ups in the NCAA Baseball Tournament Super Regionals are you most looking forward to? Let us know in the comments below.
