WWE posts ‘Kevin Owens goes to war with John Cena’ (Video)

WWE followed Kevin Owens around before the biggest match of his life against John Cena
This past Sunday at WWE Elimination Chamber we were delivered the shock of the century when, in his first ever match in the big time, Kevin Owens defeated John Cena clean in the middle of the ring. The looks on the fans’ faces in the audience afterwards were truly priceless, and it was a moment that many won’t soon forget.
It’s was a long journey for Kevin Owens (formerly Kevin Steen) to get to the point that he was at on Sunday, and it had to be a surreal feeling for him to take it all in from start to finish; from the morning of the event, right up until after he had pulled off the upset of the century.
Well, thankfully for us that have been following along with Kevin Owens for years, WWE cameras actually followed him throughout the day on Sunday. What we got at the end result was the “Kevin Owens goes to war with John Cena” video that you’ll see below.
While Owens was in character for some of the video, you can clearly see at times how emotional this moment was for him and everything surrounding it. For those of you that never followed his independent journey, he’s not lying when he says that he had a lot of prominent people tell him that he’d never make it, but he did. That’s all that matters right now and that’s all that should.
Of course, we’ll get a rematch between Owens and Cena at Money in the Bank on June 14, where many are expecting Cena to come out with the win like he always does.
But, with all the stock they’re putting into Owens so far, we could very well see another Owens victory to keep his amazing run of momentum going forward.
If anyone has earned it, it’s Kevin Owens.
