Kevin Love is sitting out the NBA Finals, but that doesn’t mean he can’t geek out when he sees Ric Flair roll up with his Rolex and diamond rings.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are two wins away from their first NBA Finals victory in franchise history, and the players on the roster can taste it. LeBron James is on a mission from the basketball gods to win a title for the Cavaliers and he’s getting help from players like J.R. Smith and Matthew Dellavedova to get it done.

One player who won’t be helping him out is Kevin Love, who has been out since Kelly Olynk ripped his arm out of it’s socket in Game 4 of the Conference Quarterfinals. Still, Love has been there to cheer on the Cavaliers as best he can and in as composed a manner as possible.

Of course, you can only keep your composure during the NBA Finals for so long. When Kevin Love saw Ric Flair arrive at Quicken Loans Arena before Game 4, he proceeded to go into full geek out mode like we all probably would.

Love hasn’t played a meaningful minute of basketball since the first-round series against the Boston Celtics and may have already played his last game with the Cleveland Cavaliers. But it’s moments like this that we remember the players we talk about on a daily basis and dissect as intensely as we have are just regular dudes at the end of the day who geek out like the rest of us.

Ric Flair wanted the Cavaliers to be up 3-0 at this point in the series, but there’s a good chance that he watches Cleveland make the NBA Finals a 3-1 advantage before heading back to Oakland. That’s a pretty darn good consultation prize to witness.
