WWE SummerSlam Rumors: Seth Rollins to face Triple H

It looks like we might be getting a match up between Triple H and Seth Rollins at one of the biggest shows of the year

Now that WWE Money in the Bank is out of the way, it’s time to really start focusing on one of the biggest events of the year, SummerSlam. This year the show will be emanating from Brooklyn, NY and the Barclays Center, and on that night we might have an interesting dynamic between Seth Rollins and Triple H.
As a matter of fact, this teacher-student combo might be in the ring going against one another on one of the biggest stages of the year in professional wrestling.
According to a report from WrestleZone.com, the current plan is for Triple H and Seth Rollins to be one of the premier matches on the card that night. Now with this news, many are probably wondering, “Well, who would be the babyface and who would be the heel?” Well the answer to that is the officials behind the scenes are looking to turn Rollins into a babyface for the bout, with Triple H assuming his usual heel role. This basically points towards The Authority turning on Rollins at some point in the near future.
Sunday night at Money in the Bank, though, you could see the seeds being planted for this. In addition to Rollins now using his mentor’s finishing maneuver, he proclaimed on the microphone after the match that he’s the greatest WWE Champion of all-time. Now we all know that the man that’s held that belt 13 times is going to have something to say about that comment eventually.
Overall, though, this might not be a bad idea. Yes, some people groan anymore when they learn that Hunter is trading in the suit and tie for tights and knee pads for a night to get back into the ring, but it’s really intriguing to see what these two can do together in the ring. With the athletic abilities that Rollins possesses, he could carry Triple H to quite the entertaining match.
