If you love the National Football League, you enjoy trying to prognosticate. It is always a great time sitting around with your buddies, attempting to understand which teams and players are going to have massive campaigns, while at the same time deciding who is in for a major fall.

With the rise of fantasy football over the last 25 years, this kind of conversation across America has only intensified. Everyone wants to be the one with an upper hand, showing just how much they know about the league which they follow so closely. It’s not only a competition to one-up your friend, it is bragging rights every time that team or player steps up throughout the season.

Heading into 2015, there are a few things we know for a certainty. Barring some kind of crazy rash of injuries, the Green Bay Packers and Indianapolis Colts are going to the playoffs. Conversely, without divine intervention, the Washington Redskins and Tennessee Titans will be sitting home when the postseason comes around. Everything else? Total crapshoot.

All of this is what makes the league such incredible theatre. It is akin to watching a fantastic silver-screen production, only you don’t know whether the good guys or bad guys win. There is something magical about not knowing what is about to happen, but still wanting to make a guess the entire time.

With all that in mind, let’s look at the top 10 sleepers in the NFL this season. Some will hit, some will drastically miss. But that’s all the fun of it, right?
