Miguel Cabrera couldn’t hate on this heckler. Heck, game respects game.

After a young Cleveland Indians fan shagged a foul ball with his hat the kid decided to start chirping at Miggy. My lip-reading skills aren’t up to date, but it looks like he said something to the effect of:

“YOU MAY OWN THE TRIPLE CROWN AND MY TEAM MAY BE DOWN SIX RUNS, BUT I AM THE LORD OF THE FIRST BASE LINE. DON’T BRING THAT WEAK TOT ACTION IN HERE, EL TIGRE. KING KONG AIN’T GOT NOTHIN’ ON ME!”

A word or two might be off, but you get the gist.

Anywho, what could Miggy do? Kid made the catch and had a double bag of onions, to boot. Not much else to do besides toss him a bat and a glove. Again: game respects game.

Love the kid shooting down any notion that Cabrera is one of his new favorite players. “I don’t know … he’s on Detroit.” Way to stonewall ’em, kid. You can’t buy loyalty.
