While the Alabama Crimson Tide have been one of the more dominant college football programs of this generation, one of the flaws they’ve showed from time to time has been at the kicking position. There have been a few times under the Nick Saban regime that the kicking game has come back to bite the team (SEE: Auburn 2013).

However, with one of their newest recruits they have coming on board, that actually might not be too much of a problem.

Eddy Pineiro is a soccer player that decided to commit to Alabama after spending some time with Saban at a camp, and he recently eased the mind of his new coach just a bit. How? Well, you know, he’s just out here banging through 73-yard attempts.

You’re probably going to pull the, “Yeah, but there are no rushers coming after him,” and while that’s true, even the most cynical of people have to admit that this is pretty damn impressive. Have you ever stood 73 yards away from a goal post? It’s FAR, trust me.

If Pineiro isn’t afraid of the rush coming after him to block the kick, then Saban will have a pretty long field goal range to play around with, with this kid.
