Mark Cuban is putting up his money if Chris Broussard can prove if his suspect reports from Wednesday night.

DeAndre Jordan was barricaded in his home with members of the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night as he and the Clippers discussed his eventual re-signing. The media knew he was there, the public knew he was there, and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban knew he was there.

However, Cuban’s knowledge of exactly where Jordan was held up at was disputed by ESPN’s Chris Broussard, who claimed Cuban was driving around texting Jordan’s acquaintances trying to find the home address. Cuban’s brother first took issue with the report, followed by Cuban addressing it himself on Thursday morning.

After the Cuban family got their say, Broussard defended his reporting. That still left Mark Cuban unconvinced. So unconvinced, it seems that he’s willing to put up some serious cash to prove Broussard was giving false information:

Cuban has never really hesitated to throw money around for what he believes in—as a laundry list of fines from the NBA will tell you—but $100K is a pretty large amount of money to throw out there if he’s bluffing.

You have to assume some sort of response from Broussard is in the works as we speak. If this kind of petty drama is what’s going to keep happening, I’ll be sure to stay tuned.
