You can now add Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney to the list of people that believe Notre Dame should join a conference

While it’s been a topic of discussion for a long time now, it seems that more recently people want to talk about Notre Dame having to join a conference in order to be eligible for the College Football Playoff. In particular, there have been a few coaches around the country that have expressed their opinion on this matter.

Well, you can now add another name to this list and that name is Clemson Tigers head coach Dabo Swinney.

About a week after Missouri head coach Gary Pinkel made the comments that got everyone talking when it comes to Notre Dame, Swinney let everyone know that he feels pretty much the same on the topic.

Swinney isn’t the only person in the world who believes this, obviously, but he’s just the latest in a string of coaches that have expressed their displeasure in Notre Dame and their standing in the college football world.

The fact of the matter is that this is something that’s not going to go away as long as Notre Dame remains an independent entity in college football. People are going to bash on them no matter what if they stay on their own, which almost leads you to believe that a change might be happening sooner rather than later.
