The NHL on NBC has released its full slate of 2015-16 games, and fans are all over the place with loving and hating the selections.

The NHL schedule has been out since last month, but NBC is just now getting around to rolling out the Rivalry Night slate and it’s leaving fans with a lot to be desired. The usual suspects are here, like the Rangers, Penguins, Capitals, Wild and Blackhawks, but there are gripes to be had with other games that landed on the slate this season.

Fans are a little suspicious about the Comcast-owned Flyers appearing on Comcast NBC channels 18 times this season. There’s also gripes about the Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks getting 21 appearances on national television, although it could be argued that winning three Stanley Cups in six years earns you the right to the national spotlight.

There is also a sect of fans who are upset that the first officially national broadcasted hockey game on NBC that isn’t a holiday game isn’t until the end of January — almost four months into the season.

Nevertheless, the NHL on NBC slate has been released, and the countdown to the puck dropping on the season has officially begun.
