The MLB Trade Deadline has shifted the landscape of Major League Baseball and with it, the post deadline power rankings.

The 2015 MLB non-waiver trade deadline will go down as one of the most active deadlines in recent years. In all over 40 trades were completed, with many big and small names changing uniforms with the intent of helping their teams reach the promised land or bringing the promise of a new day in the future.

As expected, some teams were more active than others, with the major sellers in Philadelphia, Detroit, Cincinnati, and Milwaukee among those making the most noise. However, nearly every team completed at least one trade prior to the deadline and many improved their situation to some degree. Some made drastic moves to reshape the organization from the ground-up while others simply pushed all of their chips to the center of the table in hopes of cashing in one good hand.

The flurry of moves has altered the post-trade deadline landscape; new powers have risen and old ones have stepped aside. How that impacts the postseason will remain to be seen as the season plays out the final two months of the regular season and the real winners and losers of the deadline assert themselves into the postseason picture.

With that in mind, we’ve opted to sort through the rubble by attempting to determine baseball’s hierarchy after the trade deadline has passed.
