Georgia RB Nick Chubb has the best way to combat being tired
By Jack Crosby
Georgia running back Nick Chubb literally has the best way to make sure that he’s not tired on the field anymore
Heading into the 2015 college football season, the Georgia Bulldogs are considered favorites by many to win the SEC East. A good reason for this is because they’re returning one of the best running backs in the entire nation in Nick Chubb.
Last season as he took carries over for an injured Todd Gurley, the then-freshman rushed for 1,547 yards and 14 touchdowns, making his presence on the national scene more than known. So, you can see why heading into this season, there’s a lot of people talking potential Heisman for this young man.
But, if last year was any indication, Chubb is going to be getting a lot of work out there this season. If he did all of that in just eight starts last year, there’s no telling what he can do when he’s the one carrying the load for the entire year. You have to think that he’s going to get tired — a lot.
That’s OK, though, because Chubb has the best solution to being tired on the field. You see, when Nick Chubb gets tired, he just puts the ball in the end zone, that’s all. Easy.
“I was tired almost every game, but I didn’t really show it,” Chubb said via ESPN.com.
“If you’re tired, just go in and score and get off the field. That’s my mode, I just go in and score and get off the field, and I won’t be tired anymore.”
While he’s obviously not 100 percent serious, that may be the best response by anyone ever when it comes to getting tired.
