The Oregon Duck had the perfect response to the controversial sorority recruitment video from the University of Alabama.

The Alabama Crimson Tide have consistently been one of the best college football teams in the country. As such, one could hardly blame one of their sororities from putting together a recruitment video that heavily featured Tide running back Kenyon Drake. After all, the entire school should benefit from the success of the football program, right?

One also had to expect some other school to take advantage of said video as well.

In steps of the University of Oregon. Another perennial powerhouse, the Ducks may not have the history of the Crimson Tide, but they certainly have shown to be one of the best college football teams in the nation over the last decade. With a desire to put their name into the National Championship hat, the Ducks went the extra mile by also spoofing the sorority video. However, instead of casting some pretty sorority sisters to sell the university, the team instead used Puddles, the team mascot to spread the message and it was pure magic!

While it lacks some of the charm of the original ad, at least from a gentleman’s perspective, the spoof from Puddles is certainly a quality send-up of the Alabama video, complete with glitter and pouty looks at the camera. I’m not sure either is really doing much for college football, but they certainly are fun to watch.
