Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid likened a good play call to a good cheeseburger.

Play-calling in the NFL isn’t exactly easy, it isn’t exactly quantum physics either. But still, you can miss and you can hit with your playcalls. A bad play call can leave a horrible taste in your mouth, while a good play call can have you strutting around the the side lines like WWE chairman Vince McMahon making his way down to the ring at the height of the Attitude Era.

For Kansas City Chiefs head coach, calling a good play is like finding the perfect cheeseburger.

“That’s a pretty good feeling,” Reid told Terez A. Paylor of the Kansas City Star. “That’s like a good cheeseburger.”

While the quote on it’s own is pretty hilarious, why did he choose a cheeseburger instead of something that is harder to find like good steak or good barbeque, it was part of a grander tale of how Reid is rejuvenated and re-energized in Kansas City.

If Reid can get the Chiefs to make a deep postseason run, he’d probably get a good cheeseburger for free anywhere he went in the region.

You have to wonder what Reid would think of the McWhooper.
