New York Jets fans ripped Bryce Petty over eating dominos to the point that he had to apologize for it.

Bryce Petty has been plucked out of the south and dropped into New York City (technically New Jersey) to play for the New York Jets. The rookie is still learning about his new home, but the familiarity of Domino’s Pizza came with him, and he is thrilled to have the process simplified to a single emoji.

Petty quickly learned that New York and the surrounding area is rather proud of their pizza and not pleased with his choice of Dominos.

Eventually the rookie had to apologize.

Perhaps he has never seen Jon Stewart’s anti-Deep Dish, pro-New York style pizza rant.
