Brandon Harris will be the starting quarterback on Saturday when LSU opens their 2015 college football season
Heading into the 2015 college football season, there are a lot of people that are pegging the LSU Tigers as the favorites in the SEC. Whenever Les Miles is at the helm, it’s always a possibility that the Tigers will take the toughest conference in the college football world.
However, once again, there are some questions at quarterback. Again this season everyone has been wondering who will get the nod under center. Will it be Anthony Jennings, or will it be Brandon Harris?
Well, Monday night, we got our answer. Brandon Harris will be the man going forward into this year.
When asked on Monday about the quarterback spot, Miles was asked if Harris would be the one calling the plays on the field, and he replied pretty simply.
“Absolutely,” Miles said, via 247 Sports.
So, when the Tigers take the field against McNeese State on Saturday, Brandon Harris will be the one leading the charge.
Harris came into the LSU program last season as a heralded freshman and he did earn himself some playing time. He started one game and finished the season with 452 yards, six touchdowns and two interceptions. Now, he’ll have the opportunity to guide this team to a potential College Football Playoff berth.
