Everything you need to know to watch the No. 19 Oklahoma Sooners host the Akron Zips in their season opener.

The opening weekend of college football is here and that means perennial contenders and powerhouse programs playing smaller schools in cupcake warm up games. That proud tradition continues when the No. 19 Oklahoma Sooners welcome the unranked Akron Zips to Norman, Oklahoma for their season opener.

The game will be played at Memorial Stadium on the Oklahoma campus at 7 p.m. ET. The game will be difficult for fans of either program to watch because it is only being aired on pay-per-view.

Since the game is being aired on pay-per-view, there is no live stream available for free to watch the game either.

Do you really want to pay money to watch the Sooners run up the score on the over-matched Zips? Sooners fans interested in the game would only be watching for the potential blowout to feel good about their upcoming season despite their relatively low preseason ranking for what they’re accustomed to.
